    Thanks Boomer. It definitely adds variety & somethin unique to the aquarium. Do you have any idea why it would have grown so quick all of a sudden? Excess nutrients in the water possibly? Could it be an indicator of chemistry being off? Thanks again for your help! John

    I do a 1 gal. change two or three times a week on my 10 Gal Nano. I also do a 3 - 4 gal. change monthly on my 20 gal FOWLR. John

    moving an existing tank

    When I moved a tank, I only took about 2/3 of the water, but then again it was only 45 gal. And I used empty water cooler bottles. They make moving water easy if you have access to them. HTH. John

    Which brand of SALT do you use???

    I use Kent for large water changes. But I also keep a 5 gal. "box" of Catalina Water Co. NSW for my bi or tri weekly changes in my 10 gal. nano. John
