No. That picture is deceiving. It is on it's own rock with the clam. Most sticks though have a powerful sting and the encrusting monti's will just grow around them like islands. I have thought about planting a stag behind the clam where there is no coral for the monti to surround. It would look pretty cool and complete that rock.
