Well he seems to be doing ok, the fin is still erect.

He is eating but not digging and nibbling round the rocks as much as he used to.
I cant see any ribs showing nor does he looked starved.

My water parameters are spot on. I'll keep an eye on him and see if his fin goes down.

I would guess he is just on edge, adjusting to changes & on guard and it's something similarly related...

I'm curious how ge does with lights off. U may try a dark day to acclimate him.

My Yellow Tangs erection has gone down and he is back to normal..... Non of the other fish seem to have BIG pleasing smiles on there faces :rolleyes:

Cheers Jeff, yup this is my 3rd RSM 250. The first 2 cracked on me.

But you know what they about 3rd time lucky.....

Third time would solve that problem. Especially if your fish is over 30.

By the size and duration of its erection... if yours was erect for multiple days without rest then its most likely younger.. :)
