Has been struck by the ban stick
I added salt to a veteran fresh water tank the beginning of august..I let the freshwater tank get DIRTY!. then cleaned the glass(nothing else) removed about 75% of the gravel. added salt live sand and 4 MarineLand LED's. this tank cycled hard and fast. they say put a dead fish or something in your new tank to start the ammonia spike.. i guess 10 pounds of giant cichlid sh*t works too.lol. 1 week later i added 100 pounds of live rock and have been adding since.1 month after switch i hooked in the sump. i will start the thread with pictures taken over the last 4-5 months. i will do my best to guestimate when they were taken.
