adding chaeto to skimmer cup

it's only been in there about two weeks but is growing well. I plan on taking it out and shaking out the pods periodically, then pruning and removing the excess when I need to keep it under control.

When I remove Chaeto (key-toe) from my system I add a piece of Egg-Crate over the main Display Tank and let it drip/drop the goodies into the tank for a treat. I let it drop for about 30 minutes or so. Be careful... I have noticed MANY bristle worm hiding inside of Chaeto (key-toe) so handle it with gloves just to be safe.

Good idea Al - we don't want to waste all of those "goodies'" hiding in the chaeto! (baddies to some )

i dont think in the RSM cup you will get much pod growth, its prolly stuck to your media.
