I had chance to look at some plasma last year. Very impressive indeed, but the high frequency, high voltage is scary. Because of the control frequency it can only have very short leads from the control to the lamp which puts the "nasty bit" rather close to salty water. Very good light, choice of K's and cool running though, a 10,000 lumen was cool on my hand! If they can seal the controller as well as an Eheim pump I'll get interested

Good thing you asked what people would want cause there is no way 26 people on this site are running LEDs. I was always told to want in one hand and.... I'm sure you know the rest

I've tried many systems and this is my experience:

- LEDs = SPSs browning or dull colors and fast growing rate
- MHs = Fair good color and good growing rate
- T5HO = Best colors and good growng rate
- PL = Fair good color and slow growing rate
- Plasma = ?

So I vote for T5HO with no doubt
