Well, started reading this thread yesterday. I have to say, that's one hell of a job you've done! It looks absolutely fabulous.
I would of been as nervous as you when first filling it to test!
Took me a long time to catch up on this thread but it was well worth it!

just bought some new friends. they all survived the motorcycle ride home

one replacement chromis (one went missing over night!)
one cleaner wrasse who I saw eating at the store.
and one medium sail fin tang, very cute

still in acclimation, will post pix once in DT

works like a champ, its a favorite hang out place for every one
just a 2" chunk of PVC hanging by an air tube and I rubber band the algae to it. the fish attack it as I'm putting it in the tank....feels just like fishing

new fish are pretty awesome, naso and cleaner did not waste any time, they got gay together right away

Tangs can be very aghgressive and harras tankmates to death, so to speak. Have you seen any of this behavior or did you add too many fish tooo fast?

dont think so, just added a tiny chromis, who paired up with the other one immediately. and a sailfin who is being super nice. I did see the six line attack the cleaner though.

is the sixline capable of killing? that cute little thing is a killer?

But he would have left the dead body behind, or the skeleton. I would see if they jumped out, around the tank. or you could have a hitchhiker eating them.

That's what I'm wondering. Two fish missing at one time would make me think of a hitchhiker also.

Yeah, I say look for the dead bodies. if you can't find them, its probably a hitchhiker.

I agree, then you see them change color over time!
