I need a topdown box so I can take better pics of my clownfish eggs.

I have a quick clam question and since you all have clams I figured I'd ask here.

I know there is a huge clam...I believe that is the tridacta

But I always get confused whether the maxima or the crocea is the smaller one. If anyone can answer this I'd be grateful.

Tridacna gigas - up to 3' long
Tridacna derasa - up to 2' long
Tridacna squamose - up to 16" long
Tridacna maxima - up to 14" long
Tridacna crocea - up to 6" long
Hippopus hippopus - up to 16" long
Other species not usually available to the industry:
Tridacna teveroa - up to 20" long
Tridacna rosewateri - up to 6" long
Hippopus pocellanus - up to 16" long

I did! Just some scrapes of acrylic left over from my skimmer build. I also have one for the sump made out of a cut off from the tubes glued to a scrap of sheet. Both work good. I bet you could buy a plastic box at Walmart and use that. As long as the bottom is flat and clear.

As for the clam sizes, The top picture i posted is my T.Gigas. I have seen them (in pictures) over 4'.
