This Crocea spewed out spawn for an hour when I first got it in May of '06. I flew two of them home from IMAC in my carry-on after having to explain to Security that the liquid was sea water. That the clam could not survive, even for a moment, in an explosive liquid. It took one of the Security personal, who had a SW aquarium, to verify they were indeed live clams. They did extra pat downs of me and stripped my carry-on. Frustrating for awhile but, funny in the end!

I still have both of those clams and a third purchased a year ago..
