Baby Bangaiis in the house!!

I awoke this morning to newly 'released' bangaii babies!
Bangaii cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni)

Actually, I was vacuuming out the tank that the adult bangaiis and other percula juveniles are in (40 gallon breeder); and as I was cleaning it, I noticed baby bangaii!!! :eek:

There are nine. All are eating well but one seems to have buoyancy issues.

I have read thats a common problem with Bangais. I lost 2 adults that all of a sudden had balance buoyancy problems. I have 7 small Bangais now & have thought if I end up with a pair that spawns I might attempt raising them. Prices for Bangais have sky rocketed since they cant be wild caught anymore.

With my batch, I have a few that bounce, none have died yet. I wonder if they die because they can't catch food. I keep food levels VERY high so maybe that could help?

Thanks everyone :) They are doing well so far and are eating a mixture of live BBS and rotifers.

The male was holding eggs yesterday! :dance:
That is only a mere 10 days post release! I hope he ate enough during that time....
