It took me a while but I found the pictures. This was just a project on a paper when I saw it for the first time many years ago, back when I lived in Brazil.

It's owner is called Fernando Guimarães and lives in Curitiba PR - Brazil, a personal project with not commercial intentions.


I'll post pictures of it and you guys tell me what you think.

Cool idea... It is a good example for reef without high tech.

Seems the principle works : the bigger tank you have the less trouble you have..

Actually he has some pretty good high tech, I didn't post the pics of the skimmers, reactors, The massive ozonator, pumps etc.

Wow! That is awesome! What are the pipes made out of that he used for the plumbing? Many look to be brass?????? If they are pvc that sure is a strange color compared to here in the states!
Also, I like the predator tatoo on the snorkle guy's forearm...............lol
