Ok, so I am back in the SW mode!
for 50 bucks I picked up a nearly new 75G All-Glass aquarium and brand new stand. Perusing craigslist, I had a guy with "Misc. SW Filters" for 25 bucks...
Went to his place. for 25 bucks I got:
Brand new Rainbow lifegard FB600 fluidized bed filter (not used!)
Slightly used Via-Aqua 750 cannister filter
ASM G3 Skimmer, slightly used with Sedra 5000 pump
Miscellaneous media/plumbing fittings etc...
SO, for 75 bucks, I am only in need of a Sump tank, return pump (unless the 750 will work for that), Glass-Holes 1500 overflow, and Lighting...
I will probably start out as FOWLR (Or as I finish up the equipment list, I may just go reef! Depends on what I find for lighting...)
If I use the sump, I probably won't need the FB filter...
And I have heard rumors of a kit to run the ASM skimmers out of the sump (it may not fit under my stand...)
All comments, suggestions etc welcome.
