I still haven't received my TM salt ... 10 days with fed ex... yikes

Well, 2 weeks with Fed Ex proved too much for the bucket to handle :( Per the tracking data, the package has been damaged and is on its way back to drs foster & smith.

I guess I will try the Seachem Reef Salt at my lfs.....

Yeah, I could order another bucket... just don't know that I want to...

I am very glad that I didn't need the salt quickly! I still have a bit of my O & IO left.

Ohhh yes... Drs Foster & Smith have great customer service... they offered to ship me another bucket of salt using UPS instead of Fed Express.... I politely declined. ;)

Going to be making a switch here. I have always used IO but, am tired of the low calcium and alk. I'll be switching over to Tropic Marin as soon as I use up the 200 gal I just bought last weekend! LOL

TM user here... love it.... did a 75% TM and 25% IO last weekend. I used up my last bit of IO last weekend so I will be doing a pure TM water change in a few days. :bigbounce

The problem with the salts with higher amounts of certain elements is that it's usually accompanied by higher PO4 levels.:rollingey

Salinity was @ 1.025
Temp was 80 F

PH was 8.18 (pinpoint monitor)
Alk - 10.9 dKH (salifert test kit)
