what is this?

i have an out break of these bugs or snails or im not sure. ill have pics to come later, but you can see lines in the sand againt the glass where they burrowed and they crawl up and down all sides of my tank. the side against the tank is white, and the back side is like a black grey speckled color. i have nassarius snails and i tho maybe they spawned?
