So did you buy them all?

When did you buy them? I wonder if you were the culprit, I was looking on there and went to put them in my cart and I got the sold message, not available...and what was bad is that I had them in my cart a few minutes before and took them out to go look and make sure that was what I wanted and when I tried those babies were gone.....hmmmm, bet it was you...took em right out from under my little nose...oh well, I just told Lynn I can't buy anything anyway this week....sigh...so i guess I wasn't suppose to have them

Bad News

Well, I am afraid that nobody is going to get a frag of this. When I came home from work to look at my tank, I noticed that half of the rock was closed and/or GONE! Started testing water, everything is good, so are all the rest of my corals, perfect. Well, further inspection shows me that there is a type of "sponge" that is smothering all of these polyps. I have seen this one time before, about 2 years ago, when I was working at a LFS I had gotten in a green sea mat, very full nice piece. about 2 weeks went by, nobody bought it, I started to notice that the polyps were disappearing. There was this mat like growth on the rock, slowly smothering all the polyps. I put it on reef central, nobody could tell me what it was. I sold that rock to a guy that really wanted it even though its situation...i think i still have pictures....let me check..NOPE, of course not no pics of the old situation. So here I am, Im gonna take the Blue snowflakes to the guy I got them from to let him QT them and see if he can kill this. A buddy of mine told me to take the rock out and leave it out for 5 minutes to dry up the sponge thing. I did, its not enough time to let it dry out...and any longer the polyps are taking a serious beating. They were very stressed and probably couldnt handle that again...here are the pics...I will post this on the ID thread as well.....Hopefully somebody could tell me what it is. Its nature, a natural "turf war". And I'm sorry to all you who wanted a frag of this...I was excited just as much as you all were....
