Unidentified mushroom/algae bubble/coral polyp

I can't figure out what these things are they kind of like algae bubbles except they are irregular shaped and they are greyish with really bright orange random spots.
They started growing very slowly in a single cluster of 4 or so but then later they started popping up all on this one other rock with my burnin embers chalice.
Thanks for any help on ID.

Never seen gray ones, but I have seen a reddish bubble algae that was spotted like that. It may just be a less common type of bubble algae.

Thanks for the ID. I almost don't want to remove them because they look cool. I will keep an eye on them and try to keep them under control. I don't have much in the tank, just a 20gal with a good frogspawn and a couple of chalices
