ill tell ya whut, i was not going to use a skimmer.

so i made a compramise and got a skilter (crappy lil skimmer thing.)
now i wouldnt go as far as calling that a "skimmer" but, it did manage to pull some funk out.

now with my typhoone, itt tell ya strait...

with what this thing pulls from my water, am am now an official advocate of skimming.

i do a 10% wc weekly. always, like clockwork.

and my skimmer STILL pulls all this funk out my water. i love it. so do my lil homies.

We have a 29 gallon no sump. I am using a Skilter 250 for skimming. It works very well for me and like it alot. I am also using a Marineland 350 filter. It's been going for 5 months and have not had any fatalities. (knock on wood).
