SPS flow in a nano

I'm going to be setting up a 20 gallon SPS dominated reef tank. I was wondering how much flow I will need to be able to house them properly?

I have read some sites that a recommended 30x per hour of flow is good for SPS, meaning 600 GPH flow within the display tank in your case.

Just my 0.02 cents, other may have better suggestions.

Honestly, unless your BLASTING the tank, i doubt youll have to worry about too much flow. i have over 1700 GPH through my 29G and my SPS LOVE IT! (thats close to 60X turnover)

It depends on the specifics of the SPS but regardless you'll want to create some "randomness" to your flow. By that I mean instead of getting one single powerhead that flows your desired amount (let's say 600 gph is your goal) get a pair of 300 or 350 gph and position them on opposing ends of the tank. Point them either directly at each other or at the front or back glass creating turbulence and randomness in your tank.
