Plugging a Tunze 9002 into a 130D

I fitted a Tunze 9002 and media rack into my 130D, when fitting looked at the plug on the Tunze, couldn't fit through opening so took plug apart, inside was a complete 2 pin that was being adapted. This plug, plugged straight into the existing space in the electrical box, has anyone else in England done this, hopefully it is safe.

Yep safe. Not an issue. the unit runs 110 to 240V thats all you need to check. The 130d heater failed on me so I bought a new one, I cut the plug off the old one (2 pin US) and fitted it to the new heater as the heater will also run 110 to 240v.Keeps all my plugs in the Electrics unit.
