I noticed 4 to 5 different groups of hydroids in my tank. I can't get to most of them unless I tear my tank apart which I don't want to do :(. There is about 160 to 175 lbs of live rock in my 75g tank. I heard some one say something about peppermint shrimp eating them but I have two of them an have just noticed the break outs. Is there anything I can put in my tank to eat them??

I don't know off any fish or creatures that will eat hydroids. I use super glue gel or reef safe epoxy puty to cover the colonies. Only way I know how to get rid off them.

I have heard putting kalk paste on them but have never tried it. Hopefully somebody will chime in with experience with this.
