Noisy Skimmer. How to decrease noise level?

I remember a few months ago I read a mod to the skimmer that decreased the noise level here in these forums. I searched it but can't find it. It had detailed steps on how to decrease the sound and even had pictures. Anyone remember this? I need to do this.

Search for "Pill Bottle Silencer" or something like that. It's shocking how much it silenced mine.

Not unless you do like I did and let the "air supply line" get pinched when I closed the hood.. that REALLY affects skimmer performance LOL!

ok so I used the pill cap method and the noise has decreased greatly. One thing however is that I had to remove the plastic casing that goes over the power chords in order to fit the pill cap in the right chamber. Doing so leaves the chords exposed. Should I be worried about water every entering the right chamber? Do you guys have it this way or is there another alternative?
