    Hello all

A couple months in now on my new 80g shallow reef tank.

Its an 80 gallon Deep Blue rimless.

I built a custom stand and have it as a peninsula in the basement.

Sump area is still being cleaned up. I have a shelf to install and mount a few items, I sprayed the inside of stand with water proof truck bed liner. Works great for small spills.

Trigger sump is very nice. I dont use the socks as I found it too loud. I used the long tube from fuge inlet and it works well.

The Q2 skimmer is insane. Silent and the sludge it removed will buckle your knees.

Nova led is great light. Grows macro like mad. I moved it higher in then this photo.

Jebao pump is silent and moves a crazy amount of water (2377GPH). I run it at 4/10 as the single drain cannot take more then 6/10. I suppose i could convert it to a dual drain but i dont see the need. I will add a gyre 200 for more random flow.

Argggh well my LTA decided it needed a shave and a haircut. Its now a shorter TA. LOL seems like its foot and body are fine just missing some tentacles.

Looks great! What are the dimensions on the tank? I have an 80-90ish gallon peninsula in my basement as well. Yours seems to have really great dimensions aesthetically.

Oh drat. I hate when that happens! I guess its great that it survived.

    These things can happen.

Got it all working except the Net module. SID wont update my SL2 for unknown reasons. Need to dl the bin file i think and do it that way. Nice to see my temp sitting at 78.0 - 78.2 all day and night on a rimless , topless tank with 2400gph turn over.

I find watching pH interesting. Gets to about 8.5 - 8.7 when lights are on *if I don't add scoop of bio-Cal during week.

Drops to 8.1 to 8.3 at night.
