I decided that I should do a tribute to Zoanthids, since I have had a bit of an obsession in that regard. :D Here is my photo tribute to my collection, past and present. All of these Zoanthinds and the photos are from my personal collection.

For your viewing pleasure!

cbrownfish WOW! Great Zoanthids! What camera are you using and what lens?

What type/name are those "Green Palys" you have there and what are they attached to? Looks like a "Tile" or something.

and indeed it was a PLEASURE to view these! Next time I'm in your neighborhood I hope to get a chance to do some trading.... :D

gorgeous man. I for some reason jsut can't seem to keep zoas. I don't have anyother trouble with any corals except zoas. Its a mystery. i'll just have to get my fix from your pics.

Thanks everyone.....I appreciate the comments!!

Al -- Those are "Nuclear Greens" and they are one of the more coveted palys, right next to Purple Deaths (I know that I kinda lumped palys in here :D ). My zoa garden was dismantled in favor of a growing clam garden.:) The current zoa garden is probably 20-25% of what it was. Right now my frag rack is packed with zoa frags, mini colonies and a couple large colonies. I am trying to decide if I am going to have a fire sale or if I am going to fill in all of the remaining real estate in the DT. Keep me posted if you make it "into town" and we can work something out.

PS: Believe it or not, I am using a basic Canon Powershot 5.0 megapixel camera w/standard lens. I am getting every ounce of goodness out of it though! Christmas will hopefully bring a better cam my way......

I'll let you know! I just got them in a trade with a fellow reef keeper about a week and a half ago. I have Purple Deaths and they grow pretty well.

I call it a hobby but my wife would definitely send me to RA if there was such a thing (reefers anonymous). :D

Beautiful photos. I am in on the RA too! Luckily, my husband is the one who got me hooked so he understands. He just laughs at my obsession and welcomes my discards into his tank.:turntable
