My new addition

Well got it today its a ORA Tridacna derasa clam from divers den. Started opening about 10 min after starting acclimation. Acclimated for 6 hrs. Now in main DT. Still need to get my quarantine set up. :fingerx:

Great looking clam! I enjoy that design on those clams but havent pulled the trigger on that type of clam yet. Hope it live and grows happily!

Congrats, looks awesome, I added a clam today too along with a few buddies (acan, favia, brain), if I am succesful with this guy I want to add a crocea to the rock work

Nice one. I believe any clam other than squamosa needs to be up in the rockworks. Correct if I'm wrong.

Have had her there since I started this thread and is doing great. Will have to look into that though I thought I had thats why I decided on that spot.

I kept my derasa and squamosal both on the sand bed. The derasa did great there.
