More Suprises - ID Please

Hi Everyone,

I was doing my weekly water change and noticed these weird eggs that look like they have a fin sticking out of it all over the protein skimmer compartment and right chamber.

Does anyone know what these are and if they are good or bad?

They look like pineapple sponges ...

I have those pineapple sponges around my skimmer also.

I have a lot in my sump. They usually seem most abundant in dark places.
