Kh question

Ok so I'm not one to chase numbers but I am a little curious. All my numbers seem to be good but my Kh seems a little high at 22. Ph is 8.2. So what could be the problem

A bad test kit. If you had 22 alk I dont think much could survive. thats just wayyyyy to high. take a sample to a LFS and have it tested

I thought so also. And I also thought that Ph and alk kind of went hand in hand so to speak. My tank has always tested that high with this test so maybe it is the test kit that's bad....dam api lol

Get the hanna checker. I got tired of dealing with API and Red Sea test kits. Its super easy to use and well worth the money

Agree - if you have the $$ hanna testing for alk is sooo worth it
