Even thou my clowns dont like, maybe you will. I cant aquascape, i know it looks like a big wall, i guess thats my style. But it does work great on flow. I got the privleage of redoing the rockwork when i tried to catch my damsel for 5hrs.

Looking great Jiddy. I see you've added a lot more rock. What is that bright red coral in the center?

That is the anemone my wife wanted, since i wont let her have a real one, that is a fake one. I keep it under the powerhead so it sways, kind of c0ol. It was on sale, lol.

You know the funny thing Doni is i actually took out about 40lbs of rock, i noticed my rock wasnt allowing a side flow and the bottom was getting nasty, so then i aquascape'd it as best i could

Leathers are notoriously sensitive to light changes. It will pout for a few days, maybe shed, then open as big as ever.

Leathers are happy Doni!

Okay here are some updated shots of the tank, i have some blue zoo's that i ordered when i got the chromis, 8 out of the 10 are in there, lol and the zoo's are kind of a mint than a blue, of course they dont look like the pic, but i did get two rocks of them, so im happy.

Anyways, rember that half my lights (actinics) are out because the ballast is in the shop, so im only runnin daylights. Other than that everything is going good except my little fish are "disappearin" in the night still. I was thinkin of a big fish i could get? It would pretty much just be with my YT, i wanted to add lil fish first to keep a balance of aggression down, but i dont think i can do that since they come up missin anyone have a big fish rec.??? so i can do some research on it?

Thanks,
Jidz

no they won't touch the snails. i'd splurge for the aussie ones. there are horror stories of the ones caught in the indo-pacific. i've heard countless stories of them dying after two days and show signs that they were caught with cyanide. plus the australian ones have better coloring. wish mine would have lived. it caught some sort of flesh-eating bacterial infection. killed it in about a week. be careful picking it out. WWM has tons of articles on them.

i love my tusk,,,basically passive,,,but! it will not tank any grief from my butthead sohal. i love mine,,,active swimmer, colorful, and eats anything i offer (including flakes!) he occationally will chase the chromis school, but it doesnt appear to be agressive,,,more like a game of tag.

Where did you get yours Witty and do you think it will be okay to be added basically second in a bare tank with many more inhabitants to come?

Well since Guam my tank has matured on its own and ive learned a little more about my tank. Things ive learned before you think them... (rember im moving the whole in two days)

1. My rockwork is terrible, the wall clump is not only cosmetically ugly, but its efficientcy for putting corals on it is terrible to. When i have all my rockwork in garbage cans on Sunday, hopefullyill take some time and do it the right way

2. My flow system was a complete disaster, the two CL idea was terrible, having the overflow in the middle with two CL's blocking the sides of the tank from flowing to the overflow created little pools of crud, i finally took one CL off and as you can see from the dark brown algae, it was a disaster. SO then i by two big Seio 2600 and if you blow them toward the rockwork it shakes, lol, and away from it seems like it still doesnt keep detrius from settling on the sandbed, which before i left could stay a nice white instead of the ugly red. Well the pumps were so powerful, my little clown goby got stuck in the thing and died, well the next day, my big fat mandarin who floats when he sleeps, yea, him to. So i got the clue and turned them down (duh)

3. I love my tank, but ey-yai-yai. I have the new bulbs waiting to be put in the tank after the move, so the anemone is mad as well

4. I need your constructive criticism and help to get back on the glory road

On a positive note, all the fish and corals (minus the anem) are happy

Jiddy

PS i know ill take the back off when i move ok!
