Anyone looking at my tanks, and uses such vulgar and inappropriate terms such as "nemo" or "dory" is severely reprimanded.

In the most condescending tone, WE do NOT use such words in polite society.

Marlin (Nemo's "father" in the movie) would have also become the dominant female after Coral(Nemo's Mother) dies. so in the movie for most of the time, Nemo's "Dad" is actually a female.

Company will come over and they'll ask, what's that. My wife will answer that's Nemo or that's Annabella. And she'll say, Mike knows the real names. I'll say that's a Premnas biaculeatus and that's a Euphillia Divisa. They usually ignore me and like her answers better.

And so riding on that fact in part 2, Marlin becomes Marla and Nemo becomes a bonded pair. That will freak out a lot of non reefers and confuse lots of kids LOL.
