Growing chaeto in my RSM250

So I'm not sure who else is doing this but I wanted to share it. I am growing chaeto in the right side pump area of my RSM with a JBJ LED light. It is going really well. I am using a JBJ Nano Glo.

Thats a great idea for placing the light. But how does your return pump stay clear of getting clogged up with the chaeto?

I just make sure to harvest it or give it away for free if it gets to big. I started out with just a little in the bottom and it grows like mad. Lots of pods swimming around too. My mandarin is nice and plump too.

I would like to get some wrasses but not sure if they would eat all the pods though.

So it stays in chamber 2 with the smaller return pump yes? I wanna try that but i cant figure out how the pump doesnt get clogged up

Well the pump does not hang down all the way and there is lots of room. You can fit a ton of chaeto down there. I have not had to many issues. Plus its good to clean your pumps every month or so anyways!
