I have similar Encrusting Green algae in my tank, but i figured it would go away as the tank ages. Its only been up and running 6 months. The green is slowly going away. It is hard and has to be scraped off the glass, just like Coralline.
My tank has purple and red coralline in it but it was about month 8 when I first noticed any coralline starting. I definately never had any green growth like that.. But every tank is different
