cleaner wrasse care

Generally yes.

This is one fish that should generally be left in the ocean. They require a diet of parasites, which they eat off other fish. They can't get this in most tanks people in the hobby own, so they starve.

Once and a very great while an individual does get a fish to eat and thrive on other food, but this is very rare.

I have had a cleaner wrasse alive and well in my tank for over 2 years now.
It took to eating frozen straight away and is an absolute pig.
I have many friends with them long term as well.
I actually think that if you were to make sure it was eating at the LFS before purchase you would be 100% fine to add one.
I researched before adding and found the same info, best left in ocean, not a chance of it surviving, will die within months.
That is very general info and not always true. photo (40).JPG
