Precisely right. I big strong CUC is good as long as it's "balanced" with food supply. Once they start starving it's a waste of life, money and time.

Now also if you think they are starting to starve throw in some algae waffers they love them!

i ask beacause right now i am in the process of nursing back a bleached RBTA and actually 3 RBTA as the thing has split twice.i dont have my other tanks up so i have to do it in the RSM.i am definately overfeeding right now but doing lots of water changes and have beefed up my CUC, not sure if when the nems are good i dont want to slowly kill my CUC. they are actually some my favorite creatures in my tank. thanks
