ATO help

What is the best pump to use with my JBJ ATO on my RSM130. I started with an Aqua-Lifter (would not keep up) then a Mini-Jet 404.. won't even make it up the tube to the tank. What are you guys using?

I just looked up the 404: MN404 5watts 18 min g/h /108 max 32 in max head
I'm guessing the height is near or higher than 32 inches, so that woule be why it can't pump up to the tank. If I remember correctluy the AquaLifter only pumps up 3 feet.

I run a Tunze ATO that comes with a pump, so I'm not familiar with the JBJ. I think some with the JBJ have used a MaxiJet 1200. Hopefully you'll get more replies.

I've used the JBJ for 2 years now. I've used both Maxi-Jet 600 & 1200 on my RSM 250. I like the 1200 better cause it gets the water level up faster. Good luck!

Thanks Guys.. I've got both a MJ600 & 1200 I can use. I was afraid they'd be too much, but I'll try the 600 first.

I was running the JBJ (Loved it!!) and the MJ600 was just a little on the "Weak" side going up 24" especially when the reservoir was on the low end. I'd opt 1200 for good measure.
