After two years of reading, collecting, waiting, and finally moving -I'm finally starting a reef tank. Well, kinda...

I have a complete 75 gal setup that i''m going to start after I finish the basement. In the mean time, my lovely wife *agreed that it would be nice to have a smaller aquarium upstairs in the living room.

but the VERY first tank I'll be setting up is a 20 gal QT including a heater, air pump, and sponge filter. I also installed the RO/DI filter I got from BRS -a 75gpd chloramine plus.

So cheers everyone! This is the first step into a beautiful world full of miracles -and spending lots of money.

Minimum tank size listed as 20 gal. Knowing your going to the 75 "soon" I'd say your good to go. Have fun!

what is the filtration? i highly suggest a sump, especially for the 75 gallon.
