I Was A Machinist For 22 Years. Did A Lot Of Acrylic Work. Are You Sure It's Not Lexan. There Is A Diff Even Tho They Look The Same. Lexan Is More Brittle. Anyhow I Used Endmills To Put Holes In Acrylic. An Endmill Has A Flat Bottom, Not Like A Drill Bit Which Will Grab And Twist Your Wrist Off. And You Can't Put An Endmill In A Drill Chuck. Use A Hole Saw. Drill Brom Both Ends, Have A Friend Drip Water On The Bit And Spin It S L O W... If That's Not Possable Then Have A Machine Shop Do It. Setup And Machine Time Would Be About 1 Hr., To Give You An Idea.
