He is correct. It is actually purple and orange. The LEDs make everything look bluer.

Guess you just have to think of them as free nutritious fish food. But if I were you & had a refugium, I'd be moving that egg laying snail there to see if the eggs would hatch. Do you know which sail is making all those?

One of my 5 nassarius snails laid them, found the snail in the process of laying them early one morning. Didn't think to take video of it at the time, caught a few photos before they were devoured though.
