Im sure it wasnt too much light. I think your acclimation process was OK too but I would just leave it on the bottom and work it up slowly over the next month or so. Do you know what conditions (ie light, salinity, PH, ALK) it came from? That might lead to a clue as to why it would bleach. HTH

Cheeks- well I calibrated my aquacontroller PH probe and it was reading 1.5 higher than the actual PH of the tank. I think that was the problem, guess I need to verify the probes more often. Thanks ..

Hey guys, I know it was against better judgement but the wife got me a Haddoni anenome and a saddleback clown for Fathers day. Its in my 210. The problem is it is gaping a bit at the mouth and goes limp and lies flat on the sand. The wierd thing is it does this in the mornings and by 5:00PM...

Clint, Congrats on the new tank. I also run a 210g. Mine is 84x24x24 with dual overflow. I run 3 x 400W XM 10Ks with no actinics and a moonlight. Like Curt said this will create a lot of heat. The difference in the tank temp with lights on vice off is 4-5 degrees. I installed three fans...

Huma trigger would prob make quick dinner out of the shrimp.

Bio-balls prob would not block pods but if submerged would prob contribute to Nitrates in the long run. LR rubble would be a better option.

could be caused by a number of things Ralph. How long has the bed been active? What sand dwelling critters do you have? What are you feeding? What are you using for top-off water? We can prob help with a little more info.
