Hi Everybody, I recently acquired a new Montipora frag, I think it is foliso, attached is an image of the coral in question. This image was taken the day after I put it into the tank. Since placing the coral in my tank, it has slowly started bleaching, not from the top but the bottom...

Here in South Africa buying additives is SUPER expensive. Can anybody help me with the raw materials needed to make up some of the more common additives. For example: Magnesum (sp) Calcium Strotinium (sp) Iodine and any others. I can get almost any of chemical thanks to my dad who...

Hey ReefAddict, I'm doing something very similiar with my new set-up. I'll be using a combination of 4 x 39w t5's, 1 x 5500K 150w MH, 1 x 20 00K 150w MH. (The MH's are double ended though) This is how I'll be laying out my lighting:

Okay here is my lighting layout. Hope this makes more sense to everybody now. What I'm trying to do is achieve the same colour and look as the Reefkeeping.com May Tank of the Month, Conrad Chua's (Achilles) tank.

I think I've confused everybody, will post a proper diagram a little later:)
