My name is Courtney, and I'm the proud owner of a 30 gallon reef tank.
It's been up and running for a whole year, and I can't believe the way it's grown. Ok, the basics.....
aprox. 4 lbs of Live Sand
guessing about 13 lbs of Live Rock (I know, i should have more)
about 10 assorted mushrooms
A happy colony of button polyps
several hermits
one Turbo snail
One Foxface (about 3'' long)
one Coral Beauty
one Clownfish.....I think she's a false percula....WITH her very
own Seabae Anemone.
OH...and I can't forget the 50 odd starfish. They're a mix of serpent and brittle. (several are banded in different colors....I've seen pink, blue, purple, and orange so far!)
I run a BakPak 2 skimmer, along with a Fluval 204 filter, and a power sweep power head. I have a heater too....but my lighting keeps the tank at a steady 82 degrees. I've often wondered about that, but with all those polyps
that keep sprouting up, I think the tank is ok.
That's my setup in nutshell...
Glad to be here, and I look forward to sucking the knowledge from your brains!:invisible
