White stuff on angel fish??

I have 3 Watanabe angels in a qt tank an one of them has white spots on her fins it doesn't look like ick?? Does anyone know?

Tough to tell by the pics but ich is pretty easy to spot, it's convincing ourselves that it is actually ich is the hard part!

Off hand, it doesn't have the general appearance of Marine Ich. However, the photos are not very good. it may be a viral infection.

Yeah hard to tell in the pics but keep an eye on the fish behavior, watch for her to brush against items in the tank, or along the bottom of the tank in corners. Hope its not ick, just went through a case of brooklynella with my mocha clown that spread to a damsel, and it stunk putting them in QT and giving baths/dips every other day:cursin:

Side note... props on having a qt set up, at least you didn't infect your tank if it is something bad! Good luck!

I love the Watanabei's, the males are so awkwardly cool... Hope they make a speedy recovery!
