Prices look good at anythingsaltwater , as does the pics of the rock... but I don't like that the site does not have a contact phone number, unless I missed it ... under "contact us" - just a web form... I like 1-800 #'s where I can talk to someone.

I have always head good things about this company... Welcome to Pacific East Aquaculture

I called them and asked a bunch of questions, they were real nice, I almost bought my Live rock from them, but ended up getting it from lfs.

sorry just realized that looks bad, I have ordered seahorses and few other things from them in the last few years and have allways been happy with my puchase. I'm not sure about this lastest sale I just received the message here is a link to their homepage.

Damn it I just found out, that the site that I had ordered my RSM Starter kit, told me that they don't sell it anymore, after i was waiting for days, and getting ready to order my live rock.

IME (and I have bought hundreds of pounds of LR, from many different sources) the best place to get LR from is Pacific East Aquaculture. You can order any amount of LR, and they are very helpful. Plus the LR that they have right now is amazing. THe best rock that I have ever gotten was Marshall Island Deepwater rock. But the MArshalls banned the collection of LR, so it is not available any longer. The Southeast Asian Specialty Live Rock
that PEA has currently is the closest thing the MI LR that I have seen. It have amazing color, shape, and TONS of life. Plus the pricing is very good for the quality of LR that you receive.

Be carefull buying from places that require minimum box purchases. Typically this is boat rock that has been sitting for a while. With PEA you are getting LR that has been cured in their systems for a while. Plus they will hand pick the rock for you. Tell them what you need (large, small, colorful, etc.) and they will get it for you.

The best place I have got rock is Premium Aquatics in Indiana. I have bought from them several times with great results, the price is right, the selection great, and the cured rock is "cured". Call and ask for Jeremy he will hook you up.
