When do you change cpe

Just wondering how often people change there cpe

i change mine about every 4 months or so.

4 time a year here, every 3 months

Every 4 months or whenever a snail crawls in and clogs the impeller on my Tunze skimmer making me pull things apart... which ever comes first.
