What glue?

Weld on
It actually kind of melts the edges of the two pieces together.
I would definitely not use liquid nails in any aquarium usage. I have no idea what chemicals are in it. Since it is made to work on wood I would not trust it with saltwater.

I think I mis-read. I thought we were talking acrylic to acrylic.
If it is something else then I would either use Super Glue Gel or 100% silicone depending on what you are attaching.

Ditto! Acrylic to Acrylic is ONLY Weld-On (I think #16) but it's tough to bond OTHER things to Acrylic.

You want to use Weld On #4 if it is something like a tank that needs structural integrity. Use Weld On #16 to fill gaps.

It's not going to be used for building a tank, or holding anything together. Just trying to get something to stick to a piece of acrylic. Super Glue didnt work.
