Well 2 months after having my relatively new AC unit repaired its out again.

This morning its about 86 degrees in the house. I have two tanks, when do I need to start worring? I have the AC people coming out this afternoon to repair. Tank 1 is at 81 deg, the other I am not sure, the thermometer there went on the blink.

At 81 you're still fine. If need be you can put some ice in a baggy and float it in the sump to keep the temp down while they fix the AC unit. You can also put a fan or two on it to create evap which will also keep the temp down. I hope it's a quick fix for you.

Good info jared. 81 is fine and I keep a few water bottles full of ice in the freezer for those very moments.

He came early. seems like a bad capacitor. Only 6 years old and I just had it maintenance serviced in June.

So for a mere $150 being under a service contract it should be taken care of.

Thank goodness the MH tank had a chiller. The tank temps his about 85

He just left. hope it cools dowm soon, but the ice bags have been working.
