Trigger in a reef tank

I've read that it's possible to "train" them. The consientious Marine Handbook, and I have an article out of Aquarium Fish Magazine. I understand nature and stuff and I don't want it to leap out of the tank on command. But if their that intilligent, they may be easily influenced.

This may be my biggest mess up of all. But that's haw ya learn. or at least me!!

Charlie I don't currently keep shrimp but did have a Pistol shrimp with the Trigger before. The shrimp disappeared but don't know if it was a bad molt or the Fairy wrasse or the trigger got him. What I do know is that he leaves all the snails and hermit crabs alone.

Clown trigger is one of my all time favorites. Unfortunately, far too many are cyanide caught, which is not a good thing. Definitely not what we'd consider reef-safe, they are great in a FOWLR...

Wonderful "personalities", and not usually very aggressive (for triggers) They can be a wonderful addition to a fish-only set-up.

hmmm... probably the trigger. fairy wrasses are generally shrimp safe.

oh well. nice thought :) maybe if i lose my shrimp out of the blue i'll get one.

ahah.

I wouldn't... even the the Blue Jaw, a friend of mine refused to get rid of his until the damages outweighed his like for the fish.
