I don't see why it wouldn't. The dims are

• 4 x 2.5 x 8 inches

It may be a little undersized for the 250 though, it is rated up to 37 gallons of actual water.

I do, but I'm the guy selling them LOL. Should you dump your 9002? I don't know that all depends on if you want to spend money or not.

The 9001 is a long over due upgrade to the 9002. It has so many modern features like a needle wheel, surface skimming capability, easy air adjustment, silencer. Roger at Tunze has been getting darker skimmate with it.
