Matured great for 6 months. How does your angel behave with the corals? Have always wanted one.

Thanks for the kind comments

Cloutman...so far the Emperor has not been any trouble with corals even though he's a greedy pig. He has grown from about 1.5" to about 3" in about 4 months and he's really fat. But I am watching closely just in case...

Many thanks for the kind replies here are some details of the set-up
The tank is 6x2x2 approx 120 galls Imperial (150 US gallons)
The sump is a custom design all glass holding 30 gallons
Lighting is combination of 250watt 14000k metal halides and 80 watt actinic T5s.
Filtration is by approx 100pounds of live rock (mix of caribbean and Fiji) and about 60 ponds aragonite sand.
Skimmer is a Deltec TS 1250 and I also have Deltec kalkwasser stirrer in conjunction with a Deltec auto top up system and freshwater reservoir.
Of course I use only RO water in the tank.
I am at present looking into setting up the centre section of the sump as an algae filter with Miracle mud and various caulerpa and other forms of plant life, hopefully to attain a more natural filtration and also to increase the numbers of live food available to the tank.
Corals are mainly SPS frags with a few LPS which I had in my previous set-up, there are also a couple of softies which are also left overs, but I'll probably take those out later.
If you would like any further info please et me know.
Thanks for the interest

Awsome tank! I hope mine looks that nice at 6 or 7 months!

Good job! I would guess you've had experience in reef before this tank huh?

Thanks Jason
Yes this is my 3rd reef tank each one bigger than the last.
I hope your new reef does as well and gives you as much pleasure as mine gives to me.

A few new pics of my reef, as you can see everything seems to be going pretty well. I'm quite pleased with my efforts at aquascaping this time (it usually turns out to be pretty poor)
