Strange question :)

Is it possible for a large turbo snail to scratch the glass on a 130? I have a crooked shallow scratch about 1.5" long on the inside of my tank. I know it was not there when new, and I cant imagine how it got there. I always ensure my magfloat is clean and only clean left and right( scratch is up and down)
I have seen grains of sand under the snails foot? when on the glass.
Thanks Keith

never heard of it... have worried many times about a grain of sand being picked up in my magfloat & me scratching it...

Ya the only way I could see it happen is with sand n a super strong snail.

........wet floors add character.

+1^ Mag Float did it! I got a single grain in mine that made 2 scratches before I caught it, they do NOT have to be big grains to do it. I got to the point I checked mine any time I got it near the sand. Good luck!

You can still use it just clean it with an old tooth brush or something like that regularly. The catch is you will face the same possibility with any velcro hook/loop based pad cleaner. Good luck!
