Some (more like tons of) recent pics of the 125 and fish room.

Here are some semi-recent pics of my 125g and sump area in the garage. Several things have changed since I took these pics. Corals have grown and a few fish have passed and been replaced by others as well. These pics are a couple of months old but here they are. Please excuse some of the pics being out of focus etc..

echinopora and green digi... Very nice by the way. It seems like your skimmer is pretty small from the pic you took. What model Euro Reef is it?

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! The skimmer is an rs135. A little undersized possibly but seems to be doing a good job. I will eventually upgrade to a larger skimmer but we'll see. Jeremy the first pic you quoted is actually an acanthastrea echinata. Here is a bigger pic of it.

Gorgeous tank! How big were your digi's and your birds nest when you got them? How long did it take for them to get to where they are? I've got some of the same corals you have but they're much, much smaller. Seeing decent growth but just curious as to what I should be seeing. Thanks.

Thanks, the corals are roughly a year and a half or a little more old. They have been in the 125 for about 11 months. When these pics were taken they were in the 125 for about 9. They are even bigger now. Here are two pics of when they were new to me and then one of when I moved them to the 125.

Thanks for the info/extra pics. It's good to see what kind of growth can be expected against what is seen. I've started trying to take some pics each month to compare against each other - it's amazing how much growth happens that you don't really notice from day to day until you compare month old photos against new ones.

What wattage/k value are your mh? You've got great color! I recently went to 2 400w 20k coralvue on my 90 gallon (overkill for sure but it works). Have seen some nice growth (some more than others) and the color is really starting to come out more.

This is a great thread. I hope you post pictures every month or so, that way we the followers can track the growth of your tank!

I enjoy looking at all these photos, that way I can drool... Good job!

Yeah it's crazy how much growth goes unnoticed. I wish I would have taken pics closer together so I could see a small growth sequence. I will try and keep pics coming as thing progress/change. The lighting consists of a current sunpod fixture with 150w de phoenix 14ks with no supplementation.
