Snail? ID please

Hi all, found this little fella this morn! Seems like a snail, but like a soft shell!??! Any idea please?

If you want to see something interesting grab a Stomatella by the rear half of the foot.

If you do decide to pull tails off of lizards or Stomatella they'll grow back no problem. Just make sure you eat what you harvest

I take it this is the same fella, much bigger now and doing some strange manoeuvre where it is elongating and squirting stuff out!!!!image.jpgimage.jpg

Yeah, these guys are broadcast spawners. Eggs and sperm are released into the water column. Stomatella's are known to do this often in aquariums.

REALLY!!!? That is great - tank must be doing ok if things are wanting to breed in it, this doesn't count for my cyano... which is a nightmare!

To combat the cyano in the short term, blow it off the rocks and pull it from the tank close to when the lights go out. Without the lights feeding its growth overnight, you should see a little less of it growing the next day. Again, a short term fix only - until you get the organic nutrients under control and any lighting issues that you have going on.
